About Joseph Wiltse
Joseph Wiltse practices Corporate and Business Law at Ballard Spahr. Joseph’s practice is focused on business and corporate law, real estate law, securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial law. Joseph represents clients in activities such as entity formation, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses, mergers, private securities offerings, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, contract development and review, business licenses and permits, lease review and negotiation, and employee/employer issues.
Joseph received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication Studies/Theatre, with minors in History and Theology from the University of Sioux Falls. He obtained his law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law where he graduated with high honors. During law school, Joseph served as the Dean’s Graduate Assistant for Academic Success where he taught a study and review course to the first year law students.
Joseph is admitted to practice in South Dakota. While attending law school, he joined Hagen, Wilka & Archer, LLP in Sioux Falls. Prior to that, Joseph interned at Avera Health’s Office of General Counsel and also at Jones and Kelly, a small rural practice in his home town.
Joseph’s interests include camping, rock climbing, live music, and spending time with family and friends. Joseph also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Sioux Falls Community Theatre.
